One of the goals of Dad Stuff is to add a little spice to my relationship with my kiddos. While I may not want to make every meal a super special occasion, there are times I’d like to change up the Mac and cheese standby.

So when April Fools Day comes up, I love the idea of some fun food pranks (especially when we can still eat something delicious in the end). Tonight, I’m telling my kids we’re having cake for dinner. Except it’s not a cake; it’s pizza (so the kids get over not getting a cake pretty quickly. I mean, who doesn’t love pizza?).

What’s even better is this is super easy to make. If you want the easiest version, use some store-bought pizza dough and your favorite jarred tomato sauce. If you want to go the extra mile, by all means, substitute with your own pizza dough and sauce. The toppings are totally up to you.
