I love spending time with my kids. And as much as I want to be a good parent, there are times when we play basketball when I need to stuff the heck out their shot and show them who’s who (all in a very playful way that won’t cause years of therapy).

So when I have the opportunity to (innocently) prank them, I’m going to take it (remember, we’re trying to avoid years of therapy to get over bad parenting trauma). This morning when my kids go to sip their orange juice, they’re going to be surprised when they realize it’s jello.

What’s great about this recipe is it’s super easy to make and you can do it the night before. You can also use the same recipe for any juice. So if your kid isn’t crazy about orange juice, replace it with whatever they like.

One bit of advice. Don’t skimp on the quality of the juice. The first time I tried this out, I went super cheap. If you don’t like drinking the juice, you won’t want to eat it.
